MANILA, Philippines, The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has joined forces with the Philippine Army to launch a Financial Wellness Program aimed at equipping Army Reservists with essential financial literacy skills.
Held under the theme “Resilient and Ready: Building Financial Strength for Army Reservists,” the initiative trains reservists in budgeting, saving, investing, debt management, and retirement planning. The program seeks to empower participants not only to secure their personal financial futures but also to strengthen their capacity to support their families and communities.
“By promoting financial literacy among our reservists, we’re helping build a more resilient force, financially and socially,” BPI said in a statement.
The collaboration underscores BPI’s commitment to nation-building through practical, impactful education initiatives.
