The Keystone at Aire Park: A New Landmark for Leeds’ South Bank

Vastint UK has reached a significant milestone with the topping out of The Keystone, a distinctive seven-storey office building within the Aire Park development in Leeds. Offering 75,000 sq ft of Grade A workspace alongside nearly 7,000 sq ft of flexible retail and leisure space, The Keystone is positioned as a key gateway from Leeds train station, setting a new standard for commercial property in the city.

Designed by Cartwright Pickard, the building combines contemporary architectural elements with a nod to Leeds’ heritage. Its curved bullnose façade and green glazed brickwork at ground level create a strong visual identity, reflecting its role as an important entrance to the Tetley Triangle and wider Aire Park district.

Sustainability and occupant wellbeing are central to The Keystone’s design. Targeting BREEAM Excellent and WELL certifications, the building features floor-to-ceiling glazing for abundant natural light, a rooftop terrace, and proximity to green spaces all designed to foster a healthy and productive work environment.

With tenants expected to move in next year, The Keystone offers an attractive opportunity for businesses seeking high-quality office space in a rapidly evolving area. Its location provides excellent connectivity and access to a growing range of amenities within Aire Park.

Michael Cronin, Head of Portfolio at Vastint UK, highlighted the building’s significance, stating: “The Keystone is more than a visually striking structure; it will become a vibrant community hub where city-centre convenience, nature, and wellbeing are seamlessly integrated.”

The completion of The Keystone marks a key step forward in the regeneration of Leeds South Bank, reinforcing the area’s reputation as one of the city’s most dynamic and desirable commercial districts.
